Me, Kasey, Bronwyn and Natalie met on Thursday to talk about ideas for our project. We are thinking of looking at how UK accents are represented in the media, particularly in programmes such as 'The Only Way is Essex'. We are also going to focus on the 'North/South divide and if the stereotypes associated with this are still being reflected in the media.
As Melissa couldn't make it on Thursday, we are all planning to meet again on Monday at 12.00pm.

Good to see how this is starting to take shape. Have you viewed the v-lectures? I'd say look in particular at the one on defining your question, and the units in the textbook about this. To narrow your idea down to something manageable, I think you'll probably need to be a bit more specific, and to frame your question more precisely. Doing some reading about published research will help too. Looking forward to seeing how this develops. Keep up the good work!
